Frank Sinatra and the members of the Rat Pack, Clark Gable, Tyrone Power, Danny Kaye, Spencer Tracy, and Orson Welles; to name just a few.
Harry developed the "invisible haircut" for actors who needed trims that wouldn�t be visibly evident in their day-today appearances before the movie camera.
According to the book "Supermob," author Gus Russo mentions that one of the attractions in Harry�s shop was a glassed-in barber chair with a phone in it.
Certain clientele such as mobster Bugsy Siegal, Elvis Presley and Ronald Regan favored this secure hotline.
A BBC reporter recounts �how one fateful evening in 1947 Bugsy visited the barber's shop for a shave and a trim - an hour later he was found shot dead - but clean-shaven.�
Harry died at age 91 in 1998.
His landmark shop, now Gornik-Drucker's, is located at Linden Drive and Wilshire Boulevard in Beverly Hills, California.
