 Blue Photo, is making quite some rounds this year and while we have seen its a few Blazers this model is definitely one of the more demure colorways,



The Nike Sportswear Blazer, SP features a shining Black tumbled leather upper with mainly white details on the outsole, swoosh, heel and laces.Blue photo hops in on the help out via the tongue tag and outsole for that extra touch of oomph. It�s easy to miss unless somebody is really watching your feet but trust us with these on they will be.

HAPPY 1ST MONTH TO ME!!!

it's official. i have spent the last month in canada. i love this country although it has not treated me kindly. every week is good then bad then good then bad. it's a weekly struggle LITERALLY. a lot of times i want to go home and just cuddle up to my mom. i miss my dog, there's no one jumping all over me when i get home...there's no one to hug when humans disappoint me. there are times when i wish i can just go out on a weekday and watch a movie or grab a coffee or dinner with my best friend nezie and nelly like we used to do back home. oftentimes, i just miss abby and everything about her. my b-day is coming up and since i've spent it out-of-town for the last couple of years, i can't help but think about how i would be celebrating it with my out-of-town buddies aids, jayvee, shine, xeriane, levin and ben if only i was back home. but i am here now and all i can do is suck it all in and embrace the new life i've created for myself. 

moving on, last saturday benj and i picked up the car after having the oil changed then headed uptown to pick my sister up after her shift. since she's not out yet, we decided to stroll around uptown since i haven't been there before too. if downtown is makati, uptown is more like the fort/serendra/boni high street. by the way, i'm sporting my new SHOCKING red blazer although i'm not so sure if i'll ever lean to the "colorful" direction again.

this might be weird to say but my work is the only thing that keeps me sane lately. i'm really blessed to have a "good" job. i think.

HAPPY MONDAY EVERYONE!!!

i'm so sorry if i've been lacking blog posts lately but it's really hard to take outfit posts especially since my work doesn't require me dressing up...plus the weather is just soooo crazy lately that i just usually resort to not-so-blog-worthy pieces. 

anyway, i survived my first work week! i used to dread mondays but i think i will be looking forward to mondays and tuesdays from now on since these are my days off :) i did of course get some first work week blues but i'm a lot stronger and determined than that...i just think about the salary (in dollars) and i'm fine. LOL!

i now know how to go around the city via bus and train too so i'm looking forward to discovering the city alone :) of course, my sister picks me up after work still but i get off at 10pm so there's really nowhere to go too. but today is the anniversary of value village (a major thrift store here) and everything's 50% off so i'm off to do some shopping! see y'all later! bisous xx

when you can't swim...

HAPPY TUESDAY LOVES :)

so nothing spectacular really happened in the past two days. yesterday, we just went to the mall...this time a bigger mall. we also went to watch eat pray love today which as usual, the book is better than the movie. 

for my first purchase in canada (using my own money), i was able to buy some laced wedge at forever 21. they have this style too in the philippines but back then, i didn't really want them. well actually, i really wanted to buy the wedge booties but they didn't have it in my size here anymore. apparently, everyone here is size 9...BOO-HOO!!! my sister bought me some blazer cardigan too from joe (it was marked down from $30 to $9) and some lingerie from la senza (which was also on sale! 10 pcs for only $26). i'm really not that ecstatic when it comes to shopping here yet because:

1. i don't have money yet (i start working on the 25th)

2. i still don't know what to buy or where to buy them

3. my sister and brother-in-law are always with me which makes it hard for me to linger on the stores

the day will eventually come when i'll be the expert when it comes to canada shopping ;)

so anyway, it is summer here but you can't really swim because there are really no nearby beaches around. there are lakes and that's it :( 

so i say...when you can't swim, wear a bathing suit ;) 

yep, i am wearing my sister's bathing suit as a top...i just love the polka dots, the bright blue and the sweetheart neckline. so the next time you ran out of something to wear, check your swimwear drawer and who knows? you just might find something better than a top =P

notice my font's bigger? well, my sister said my old font is too small for older people like her. LOL :) i'm also thinking if i should continue updating my chictopia or just concentrate on my blog...what do you guys think? lemme know :)
