better to be overdressed

as promised from my last post, i am sharing with you the pics from my sister's bday last weekend. sorry it took me a long time to make a new post. my weekdays are just busy busy busy! 

anyway, we were supposed to go clubbin' but ended up in a sports bar instead so we are actually quite overdressed. but as i always say, "it is better to be overdressed than underdressed." agree? :)

it's my first time to actually try the bar scene here in calgary and i must say, the party scene in manila is soooo much better...or maybe we went to the wrong bar?? but you know us filipinos, we make the most out of these situations. we actually had a really great time. we had shots cos its like bday tradition, right? started with one tequilla, two tequilla, three tequilla...FLOOR!!! ;)

i had my eyes on some of the guys (HAHAHA!!! no luck though!) but seriously, i thought men in canada are supposed to be taller than me??? we girls NEED to wear heels and we NEED guys who are taller than us even if we are in sky highs! 

so where the hell is this guy???

today is the manila time bday of my snooki, CARLA :) happy bday, snooks! - from JWOWW with love <3

and oh, we are clubbin' again this saturday...any suggestions preferably downtown? 

will surely appreciate it! :)

The other weekend I had my 10yr high school reunion and because of the dress I was wearing, I wanted Teyana Taylor big hair (even if it's not hers). So I figured that I would do a twist-out but set them on flexi rods to stretch them out for length and volume. Well, it did not turn out the way I planned...I'm human and here is my failed Teyana Taylor inspired hair.

I will keep attempting this until I get it. 

MAXI-mizing

last saturday was my sister's bday and we just had to surprise her with some balloons, cake, cards and gifts in bed. later that day, benj and i headed to the liquor store to buy some wine and vodka but of course we made a pit stop to shoot some outfit pictures just for you guys :)

the maxi skirt is slowly growing on me...this is the only item i bought at a regular price when we went crazy shopping last last weekend at WEM. i do think it's worth it cos i've been thinking of the possible matches for this skirt and i've thought of quite a lot :)

on a different note, i started to go to the gym last weekend. man, was it tough to go back on track but it really felt good sweating! i'm not sure where i should sign up for membership though. i still have to try two more gyms before i can decide. wish me luck!
