MAXI-mizing

last saturday was my sister's bday and we just had to surprise her with some balloons, cake, cards and gifts in bed. later that day, benj and i headed to the liquor store to buy some wine and vodka but of course we made a pit stop to shoot some outfit pictures just for you guys :)

the maxi skirt is slowly growing on me...this is the only item i bought at a regular price when we went crazy shopping last last weekend at WEM. i do think it's worth it cos i've been thinking of the possible matches for this skirt and i've thought of quite a lot :)

on a different note, i started to go to the gym last weekend. man, was it tough to go back on track but it really felt good sweating! i'm not sure where i should sign up for membership though. i still have to try two more gyms before i can decide. wish me luck!

happy mid-week lovelies!!!

it's hard for me to keep track of time and days lately because i'm uber busy with errands before i leave the country plus my dad was rushed to the hospital yesterday and is still in the ICU :( i am trying to squeeze in everything all at once so i don't have to miss out on anybody. 

on a happier note, i went on my last ukay (thrift) shopping extravaganza last monday (when i was supposed to have to coffee with my friend cres but she didn't show up for an unknown reason...until now!!!). 

such a happy happy day!!!! i was able to buy lots of blazers and jackets that i can't wait to wear!!!!

my sister said there are ukays in canada (i guess they call it salvation army, etc) as well but i know the ones here in the country so well and i'm going to miss finding vintage pieces for only P15! 

i wish it would be that cheap there as well :)

hi lovelies :) :) :)

i've been really really really busy lately because of SHOP MY CLOSET and i just have no time for facebook, twitter or even my blog! i started my online shop just last friday but i was able to sell three batches already (two of which are sold out and the other one only has 11 items left). i was really overwhelmed with the positive response i got from my friends and even random people. i think the reason why my shop is such a success is because of my blog (outfit posts) too. my friend told me that my advantage from other competitors is that people know i dress well (why, thank you) and the sense of style that i exude (thanks yet again). she said that i know how to style and that makes me different from other online shops (i would like to believe so). 

most of the online shops sell clothes from hongkong and most of these you see in tiangges (you just might be a victim of seeing another person wearing the same thing) but i sell things that are literally from my closet (and no, i don't shop at tiangges. i shop at thrift stores and i am proud of that). 
i think it's just a bonus that i don't sell items above P500 :)

will be doing SHOP MY CLOSET twice a month so watch out for it and add my shop on facebook!! :)

happy sunday lovelies :)

i normally don't go out on sundays because for me its all about church, sleep and time with my mom but i made an exception today all because of sex and the city 2!!! i know there were a lot of bad reviews about the movie but my bestfriends nezie, nelly and i still decided to go. we just won't miss it for the world! seriously, we don't know why people didn't like it because we did! where is everybody's sense of humor??? i mean, it's true. SATC 1 was all about carrie and SATC 2 is all about samantha. it should've been about carrie but let's all admit it, carrie is sometimes too much of a drama-magnet. it's nice to move away from that for a while and just laugh our asses off from samantha's crayyyyzaaaay antics! well, at least that's how i feel.
"to each his own," as they would always say. 

 but hell, please tell me we alllllllllllllllllllll agree about the outfits being sooooooooo willllllllllllllllllld!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i love every single outfit!!!! i wouldn't necessarily wear them but they were fab, fab, fab! :) :) :)

moving on, we had a quick brunch at gram's then we headed off to the summer solstice bazaar at the rockwell tent. i wasn't able to buy anything but nelly and nezie got tons of things! i just didn't find anything that i really really really wanted :( i must say though, i am impressed with the rockwell bazaar now because the items are really chic and affordable unlike say, 3 years ago.

however, nelly won the raffle and because she didn't like the free top because it wasn't really her style, she give it to me :) she did gave me a goodie bag too :) the goodie bag included a cute little fan, a "peace sign" printed shirt, a rose ring (she got the same rings for the three of us from girlshoppe but mine's in color green instead of red because there were no more stocks available in my size) and a sweet little note :)

i find it funny that we were all wearing boots and jackets/blazers. 

i guess great minds do really think alike...or maybe it's just the weather? :)

how crazy are the shades? fyi, i just tried them on but didn't get any of them.

don't you just love nezie's bow necklace (from niche) and the statement coin purses (nelly's says "must last till next pay day" and nezie's says "shopping hangover")? :)
