Essential Facts for Essential Oils
Basil - is a beneficial herb that stimulates and promotes hair growth, massaging with this oil promotes healing, health, and improves scalp circulation which, in turn, promotes hair growth. Basil is good when used together with fenugreek and ivy burdock herbs. Basil is used in many shampoos and conditioners that are designed for scalp health.
Burdock: It helps with skin, scalp and hair cell renewal. It also helps to stimulate blood flow to the root of the hair. Burdock Root Essential oil is also supposed to help with hair loss in both men and women.
Fenugreek: Fenugreek has long been used for stimulating blood flow especially to minor capillaries such as those that feed the hair root. Fenugreek makes for a great topical application like in shampoos, conditioners and in hair tonics. Fenugreek for hair care is an excellent choice especially for those that are having problems with hair growth. Fenugreek also compliments sage, lemongrass, lemon peel, burdock and ivy extract.

This stimulation can help with hair loss and thinning hair in women and men.

my take on the classic polo
this polo was given by sister to my mom but it has been sitting on her closet for soooo long and i just gotta have it! even my trousers were in my closet since college and i usually wear it only to the beach since it is linen and super comfy. but thanks to the men-inspired fashion, i was able to reinvent both classics and put my own twist into it.
unfortunately, the polaroid program cuts off the picture and you probably won't see my shoes and the fact that i rolled up the trousers. i am soooo happy with the rolling up your pants thingy because it gives a fresh new vibe to old pants. dont ya think so? =)
shorts + blazer + tights
i hope y'all are not yet getting tired of all my blazer outfits coz it's not yet over!!!

it's not hot pink
on nez: top purchased online. MNG trousers. CLN bag. peep-toe heels from Landmark. cocktail ring and cuff.
on noel: GAP hoodie. Team Manila shirt. Bench jeans. Vans sneakers.
mads: peach!
noel: it's not pink. it's not orange. somewhere in between...hmm...peach?
michiko: peach! it's definitely not hot pink no!
rich: pomelo!
a guy from starbucks: it's voluptous pink!
nez: hmmm...peach?
via: it's not peach...it's coral!
so anyway, after bugging the customers having coffee at starbucks (was glad all of them were regulars) and finding the perfect word (phew!), we headed for dinner at world chicken in GB1 (i cannot get over the pesto cream!). i then ranted while we were having the yummiest chocolate cake ever in classic confections. my friends are the most honest individuals alive! i am sooo lucky :) and michiko never fails to make me laugh. she's the meanest yet funniest person alive! we miss you, nelly.

the cropped vest and faded denims
on me: TRF gray v-neck shirt and faded denims. thrifted cropped denim vest. Possibility at the Ramp glad heels. horn necklace given by my bff. cuff from a i-forgot-metrowalk store.
on jeane: MNG tank top. TRF harem. Juan peep-toe semi-bootie.
on a sadder note, i am having buyer's remorse. the faded denims i was wearing in this picture is approximately 2-3 inches bigger than my usual denim size! all the other pics that i am not putting up here actually showed how maluwag it is (and how bad mads takes pics. ugh!)! haaay... i should have bought the basic white v-neck top and the oversized t-shirt dress instead =( actually, you know what? i should have bought more than my budget! i should've really made my last hoorah OTT! waaaahh...now i cannot wait for december!!!
i was supposed to buy a yoga mat to forget about the denims but all the swiping machines and ATMs were offline. so i went home and ate piatos instead. ahh...piatos, you taste good! how long have i been a kambing???
happy araw ng dilaw y'all =)
P.S.
i will have this denim altered and redeem myself. haha!
pics are loooong overdue. so sorry for the delay..jeane took too long to upload them. sorry for the blurry pics also, just grabbed them from jeane's multiply.

quezon city day cool
so just as promised, mads and i went back to qc circle. it was qc day yesterday and the mood was so festive. there were march bands, fireworks and even abs-cbn was there. we got in touch with our inner kiddos...rode the bike, ate ice cream and cotton candy. i have a confession to make...i don't know how to bike. SERIOUSLY. all i can ride are those side cars and so that's what we got. besides the fact that we have so many stuffs and that we were feeling a little lovey dovey =) i haven't really been in a bike for such a long time!!! i thought i was gonna have cramps because mads was so heavy! i was LITERALLY sweating but we did alternate in being the driver =) mads kept on bugging me to try the japanese bikes but i was really scared to death! i remember i kind of learned how to bike eventually in college but i was still so scared! i know some of you are thinking, she's so sporty, surfing and all...why can't she ride a freakin' bike?? simple, i do sports in the water and in the sand NEVER on land. so anyway i promised mads i will just try to ride the bike when we go around dos palmas next month since i supposed i'll be landing on sand if i fall and at least, it is a secluded area. so not a lot of people will hurt their tummies laughing if i fall.
oh earlier that day, i got to watch "and i love you so" with my mom. i really wanted to watch even before the hype because i'm really patay na patay kay derek and i've always been team sam (rather than team piolo). so yes, i like them chiseled and dark =P nevermind the fact that i do not like bea. so, it was really a bad idea to watch it before meeting mads because i literally have swelling eyes! i am so iyakin talaga! everytime derek comes in the picture and all the scenes with coney reyes were really heart-wrenching. i cried most during the scenes (1) where bea was drinking in the car, (2) saying "i hate you" to derek while she was in the pre-school alone and (3) when she was saying "i'm sorry" to coney reyes. i swear, i think even if you haven't lost someone literally, somehow you'll be able to relate at one character/scene or another. i even cried during the happy scenes! i wonder though, is there still love like that somewhere??
