HAPPY MID-WEEK LOVELIES!

yesterday was one heck of a day. i received some bad news in the morning and i thought it won't get better any time soon but God is really good and He never failed me once in my life...so here He is again making sure that He won't disappoint me. I'm crossing my fingers that everything will be okay tomorrow and the next few days. i know that God has other plans for me and if I just completely put my trust in Him, everything will fall into place :)

moving on...i've always wanted to try the military trend cos i've read in people that it's going to be a big trend for fall. i got these combat boots at value village when i went on their 50% off sale last monday and i completely fell in love with it! its too perfect for jeans!!!!

something good always happens when...

1 DAY TO GO!!!

the last installment of my backward post...this is what i wore to lunch at nomnom and malling with one of my best friends, abby. something good always happens when...i'm with abby :) she treated me to lunch at nomnomnom (even if it's my resto of choice; wanted to show her one of my fave restos cos i know she's obsessed with the european setting just as i am) because i won't be here for her bday anymore :( then we headed to megamall to shop at f21, (surprisingly) bench (can't believe there are sooo many good buys there and for a cheap price! we both got a cropped tee and i also got a braided belt) and abby went crazy at powerbooks (she also got me lauren conrad's LA candy too because i said i want an easy read during my loooooooooooong flight). 

on the way home, we had bubble tea (i got kiwi which sucks by the way) and we hung out for a while in her room (took polaroid pics of ourselves) before we both headed to different dinner dates (abby was meeting diwi and i went to meet aids, jayvee, xeriane, ben and lev for coffee that eventually led to red ice tea and kebab!). 

about the outfit...i just love this cropped jacket. reminded me soooo much of balmain plus i got it for a really really really cheap price at a thrift store =) i just hope thrift stores in canada are just as fab. 

anyway, this might be my last post here in the philippines...i can't believe i'm leaving tomorrow!!!

4 DAYS TO GO!!!

so i'm doing a backward post of the outfits i've worn this weekend since i still haven't received the photos from last friday and saturday. this is what i wore last sunday when we had lunch at conti's in serendra with my brother-in-law's family :) was supposed to wear a no-brainer lazy sunday maxi dress but it was raining heavily that day :( so instead i wore this very cute I <3 STRAWBERRY tank top i got a few months back from a thrift store...it looks new!!!! and fancy cos of all the crystals! and it doesn't hurt that i really love strawberries too :)

well, helloooooooooo lovelies :)

i'm such in a good mood today despite all the emotional turmoil that happened yesterday. i'm just really glad that my dad is out of the hospital already and i am officially back home after spending two weeks in the hospital and staying at my grandma's. i'm reunited with my bed and my dog which are my two loves forever :) i also have my internet back since i've been using the hospital's wi-fi (which blocked a lot of sites even blogs!!!) for days! now i can finally finally finally get back to my normal life even for a day...yes, only a day because i have two weeks left before i leave the country and live in canada...FOR GOOD!!!

due to a lot of stress and not having shopping as my therapy (i can't shop anymore because i don't know if i can bring everything), i ate and ate and ate so here i am as my ol' chubby self...sigh :( i will try to stay away from food though for the next couple of days that i'm here. wish me luck!!!

yes lovelies, i am definitely trying my best to take my blog back to where it all started...outfit posts! the summer heat was really tough to beat and i've been hearing a lot of filipino bloggers complaining about how summer makes it difficult for them to wear fashionable clothes. i was (still am) one of these people. i tried my best to go out in the city as much as i can but alas, all my trips were headed to the beach. yes, that would explain why you haven't seen me posting up outfit posts in my blog for over 2 months, i think. i did enjoy all of my trips and i think this is the best summer to date! sadly, i think the zambales trip is the last one for this summer :(

so next week is fashion week!!!! 

i think i am going to three shows this year as opposed to the two shows i saw last year. i can barely contain myself because finally i'll be able to go out in the metro and wear real city clothes. i am already thinking about the outfits but most of them involve shorts. i guess it will be really hard to say goodbye to summer this year. the heat is still unbearable, sad to say :( 

i finally found an oversized ray ban aviator!!!! YAY!!!! and oh, i am planning a DIY session this weekend. that's it for now! ciao, bella! xx
