happy mid-week lovelies!!!

it's hard for me to keep track of time and days lately because i'm uber busy with errands before i leave the country plus my dad was rushed to the hospital yesterday and is still in the ICU :( i am trying to squeeze in everything all at once so i don't have to miss out on anybody. 

on a happier note, i went on my last ukay (thrift) shopping extravaganza last monday (when i was supposed to have to coffee with my friend cres but she didn't show up for an unknown reason...until now!!!). 

such a happy happy day!!!! i was able to buy lots of blazers and jackets that i can't wait to wear!!!!

my sister said there are ukays in canada (i guess they call it salvation army, etc) as well but i know the ones here in the country so well and i'm going to miss finding vintage pieces for only P15! 

i wish it would be that cheap there as well :)

hi lovelies :) :) :)

i've been really really really busy lately because of SHOP MY CLOSET and i just have no time for facebook, twitter or even my blog! i started my online shop just last friday but i was able to sell three batches already (two of which are sold out and the other one only has 11 items left). i was really overwhelmed with the positive response i got from my friends and even random people. i think the reason why my shop is such a success is because of my blog (outfit posts) too. my friend told me that my advantage from other competitors is that people know i dress well (why, thank you) and the sense of style that i exude (thanks yet again). she said that i know how to style and that makes me different from other online shops (i would like to believe so). 

most of the online shops sell clothes from hongkong and most of these you see in tiangges (you just might be a victim of seeing another person wearing the same thing) but i sell things that are literally from my closet (and no, i don't shop at tiangges. i shop at thrift stores and i am proud of that). 
i think it's just a bonus that i don't sell items above P500 :)

will be doing SHOP MY CLOSET twice a month so watch out for it and add my shop on facebook!! :)

happy father's day to all dads :)

so how's your weekend, lovelies? my saturday was such a blast but i hate sunday hangovers! i was bedridden the whole day today after partying and going home at 5 am last night! and i plan to sleep as early as i finish this entry which is around 9. i'll make a post about my weekend once i've grabbed all the pictures.

moving on, about the outfit...this lace number was actually a dress before but i cut it and made it into a top. i must say, lace is very hard to cut and sew! it also has a lining before but i thought it would be more updated (and sexaaaay!!!) with the bra showing :) i also don't get to wear my oversized long vest that much anymore since i got it last year from a thrift store so i thought it would be nice to wear to balance the sexy vibe of the whole ensemble. and oh, i haven't worn these shoes for a long time!!!

so i found these gloves in my mom's headboard today and it was luuuuuuuv at first sight!!!

how and where the hell mom got these??? i must ask her when she comes home cos they are FAAAAAAAAAAAB!!! anyway, i know no one wear gloves in the country. hell, even the ones who live in baguio don't ever and it's cold there. of course, the fashionsitas wear gloves just for the sake of it but i'm sure that the palms are sweating! LOL. but you know what they say, "what you won't do, do for love...FOR FASHION." so here i am with sweaty palms and armpits clicking away while i don on boots, scarf and gloves pretending it is actually snowing outside. anyway, how's your weekend lovelies? :) i've been having a DVD marathon all weekend long because i'm too broke to even go out. i haven't been working for 3 loooong weeks already because i was busy when my sister was here but it will soon end today :( i'm actually excited to get back to work and earn some mollahhhhh!!!

back to my marathon, i've already told you that i loved up in the air, right? :) well, i got to watch sorority row, blind side and it's complicated yesterday. today, i've watched couples retreat. the review:

* sorority row- suprisingly entertaining :) i love love the first few scenes with audrina patridge :)

* blind side- thought it would be heavy drama but it was actually a fun, light-hearted movie :) it was touching and heart-breaking really :) of course, i cried. DUH. sandra bullock was good :)

* it's complicated- i think i expected too much. it was boring and dull. i didn't like it. the best scenes i think were the conversations of meryll streep with her friends because they were hilarious but that's about it. aleck baldwin annoys the shit out of me. 

* couples retreat- i didn't know vince vaughn is a writer and a producer now but anyway, movie was entertaining, sweet and funny all at the same time. eden resort was amaziiiiiiing! i want to go there ASAP!!! must watch if you are with someone :)

tonight i think i'll watch leap year and new york, i love you. wish me luck! <3

so this was my costume after thinking if i'll be a white lady or cat woman =)

my ex-stepdad is a retired police and i did not want to spend a single cent on my costume this year. well, i didn't too last year but i did some crafts. this year, i am so lazy so i thought of just wearing my stepdad's police uniform =)

i was thinking if i should wear it with some fishnet stockings and oxford heels but then i do not want to be so slutty! LOL. however, i paired it with some short shorts and people were still looking at me like i'm a slut (i was thinking maybe because i have the longest gams and that means more skin??)!!! i swear, my shorts are not really that short AT ALL... i mean, compared to some other people who wear pekpek shorts all the time! i was beginning to think that these people live in caves! HAHA!

anyway, i partied with my cousins, bf and other friends at seventy-seven in the midst of typhoon santi! i wonder who i will be next year...hmm...i am thinking of tutus...what do you think? =)

now i can relax

my bf is slowly becoming a fan of my blog and he is now super patient in taking my pictures
=) actually, i took off my zebra bandana because some people just do not understand but then
my bf surprisingly said that the outfit so much more fasyown with the bandana...and it is!
he never ceases to amaze me.
