hello lovelies! i am officially backkkkkk!!!!!! :)

i am so sorry for the lack of posts! the whole month of december was just busy, busy, busy! it was a rough month but there were more good times than bad times, i must say :) now, normal days are back and i couldn't be happier :) it took me a while to get back on track but i'm sure that i'll be able to come through :)

and because it is 3 degrees outside today, it made it possible for me to just wear a maxi, a leather jacket, a fedora and an eyelet top instead of ear muffs, gloves and a thick coat.

oh, happy days are back ? ? ?

what uploader do you use for your pics? i use the normal image uploader for blogspot and it prompted that i have no more storage space. this never happened to me before! what to do? what to do? HELLLLLLP! thanks x

HELLO LOVELIES!!!!

so i am making my first ever blog entry from canada :) it's 3 am here and i'm having a major case of jetlag! i slept at around 11 pm and was up at 2 am...so here i am making a blog post instead of tossing and turning in my new bed (btw, my new room is looooove! the whole house is actually pretty! will make another post to show you guys).

i must say, i am looooooooooving canada! i thought i'd be uncomfortable here but i've never felt so comfortable in my life!!! each individual is different from the other. i feel like everyone has a story to tell. i'm still trying my best though to converse naturally since canadians do love small talks. sometimes it registers slowly in my head and my answers are delayed...NOSEBLEED!!!!

so here's what i wore yesterday...when i was in the philippines, i rarely wear skirts because i felt awkward like everyone's looking at me but here, i don't feel like that AT ALL! finally, i have the freedom to wear whatever i want :) :) :)

for my first whole day in calgary, we went to the nearby mall. i had to get a phone...i got a blackberry (but in white) curve. i'm still trying to figure it out though. it's so much harder than iphone! i do have an iphone though that i use for when i'm at home and there's wifi :) we had korean dinner at the mall and went grocery shopping too then we went to chinatown for their 100th anniversary to watch fireworks :)

i had to wear tights and my blazer come evening time because it gets cold!!! but it's good to know that the sun only sets as late as 9pm! i still find that weird up until now...baby steps, baby steps :)

one last time from the philippines

FINALLY THE DAY HAS ARRIVED!!!

so i said in my last entry that it was the last blog post from the philippines but i still have one more and since my flight is still later at 6 pm, i still have the time to make just one last blog post =)

so this was what i wore last wednesday at rockwell...i had to visit my fave mall with my fave people one last time before i leave. my bff nezie and i watched step up 3 (which was super fab! should watch it in 3D!!!) then had a little chat over some yogurt ice cream and window shopped a little...even if what i really wanted was for us to go to burgoo already and have our margaritas. she clearly and successfully diverted my attention because i had no idea they (nez and nelly) have cooked up a surprise for me (at burgoo)! so that's why we can't have our margaritas just yet....HMMM...clever! i was totally shocked and surprised! no one ever surprised me everrrr. well, a few of my bfs before did but i'm really good in terms of spoiling surprises LOL! but i guess my best friends know this special talent of mine and they were really successful...i had zero as in ZERO idea that there would be something like that! 

anyway, they both gave me glow-in-the-dark haviannas and a framed picture of us in this very chic zebra printed frame (wasn't able to take a photo though) and melodramatic little notes.

happy monday y'all :) :) :)

the latter part of last week was such a good week for me. ever since i opened my "shop my closet by thegirlwiththemessyhair" online, i haven't had a decent amount of sleep and i've been running around here and there like a mad crazy woman! but i am grateful for the overwhelming response so it doesn't really matter if i sleep or not. 

so just like any other day last week, i had to meet up a buyer (/friend roni callanta) last saturday in technohub and i was able to meet up with my close high school friends, my two J's jeane and jobs. i was running a bit late, it was raining, i have wet hair and i have to throw in whatever i thought of first. so here i am with my all gray ensemble, crappy hair and ms. chubby cheeks 2010 face. HAHA!!! i know i'm fatter than the usual but for once in my life, i don't feel like dieting at all. i think i've had enough last summer and i just want to enjoy the rainy season in my couch, nibbling on chips and watching DVDs. 

moving on, it was nice seeing my old high school friends. well, particularly jobs because i haven't seen her in a while. we had dinner at the old spaghetti house and coffee at CBTL. i'm glad i still have friends who i haven't seen for so long yet are still my friends like nothing has changed! i love self-governed friends! :) 

 hopefully next time abby and aids can join us!! show yourselves!! HAHA! we missed you :(

i had some chance to relax last night and was able to watch when in rome! funny and crazy movie! i wish we can all meet josh duhamel-ish type of guys during weddings! LOL.
