survivor weekend

HELLO LOVELIES!

as i've told you in my last entry, i've been mostly out-of-town lately because the heat in the city is really unbearable. last weekend was no exception especially since it was a long weekend for us Filipinos due to Labor Day. my friend, Jayvee invited us to their family's rest house in Lian, Batangas where she will also be conducting her company's, LinxProvi8's team building. the theme for the team building was "survivor" and as competitive and supportive as i was, i did join the activities together with my friend, shine, who was also not part of LP8.

i've always wanted to join Survivor but even when i auditioned before (i auditioned with my then bf and his friends but none of us got into the final round), i wanted to back out. sure, i am competitive and i think i can physically take on the grueling challenges but i'm still a girl after all...i thought about not being able to get a wax, brush my teeth and have only one piece of clothing behind my back. so i've decided, i can only take on the amazing race but never survivor. having said that, i was so excited to take on the challenges (just) for a day or two...and take on, i did! :)

the challenges were so tiring and intense! teams were separated into two tribes, the kumintang and the batangan tribe. i loved my tribe! we won most of the physical challenges :) but later on, i was swapped on the other team :( 

nonetheless, the team building was very successful and we were able to relax the next day and enjoy the beach :) :) :)
